Our all-metal hydraulic oscillator is a flow-activated downhole vibration tool engineered for harsh high-temperature, abrasive well environments. Unlike conventional oscillators that adopt rubber seals or elastomer parts, all load-bearing and motion components are constructed from precision machined alloy steel. When pumped fluid flows through internal metallic valve assemblies, periodic pressure fluctuations drive axial reciprocating motion of the tool body; vibration propagates along the entire tubing string to convert static friction between tubing and casing into low-resistance dynamic friction, greatly lowering hoisting tension and improving reach of horizontal coiled tubing operations.
The monolithic metal structure eliminates elastomer aging, extrusion and chemical swelling failures caused by high temperature, oil-based fluids or corrosive media. Hardened flow components withstand erosion from sand-laden fluid. Full metal material options that comply with NACE MR0175 standards are offered for H₂S/CO₂ sour wells. It is widely used for plug milling, deep horizontal washing, high-temperature thermal well intervention and other demanding projects where rubber-containing tools cannot sustain long operating cycles.
