Product Overview

The Double Dimple-on Connector is a double-sided dimple-type coiled tubing downhole fitting designed to splice two separate coiled tubing sections into a single continuous tubing string. Operators insert the two ends of coiled tubing into both sides of this connector, then use a dedicated hydraulic dimpling tool to press dimples into the tubing wall, locking the tubing tightly with the internal profile of the connector. This connector delivers two core superior performances: high tensile strength and excellent torque resistance, which can withstand heavy axial pulling loads and torque transmission requirements during drilling, cutting, fishing and other downhole operations. It also features reliable high-pressure sealing capacity to adapt to fluctuating wellbore pressure and temperature changes. Two complete working grades are supplied to match different reservoir environments: STD standard grade for conventional sweet oil wells without hydrogen sulfide corrosive media, and H₂S sour service grade constructed with sulfur-resistant alloy for high-H₂S corrosive sour gas wells. The standardized product lineup covers coiled tubing sizes of 1.25", 1.5", 1.75" and 2", with matched outer diameter, inner diameter and make-up length specifications. Custom outer diameter, wall thickness and anti-sulfur passivation coatings can be customized based on customer technical drawings.
