Product Overview

The Mechanical Disconnect is a two-piece split coiled tubing emergency release tool, composed of an upper sub and a lower sub connected by brass shear screws. When emergency separation of the coiled tubing work string is required on site, operators apply upward pulling tension to exceed the preset shear load of the brass shear screws, the screws shear off completely to separate the upper and lower assemblies, realizing safe mechanical release of the downhole tool string.

This mechanical disconnect is specially developed for medium and heavy-duty coiled tubing downhole intervention operations, including sand washing, well cleaning, gas lifting and other conventional oilfield construction processes. It integrates three core optimized designs: adjustable shear breaking tension, built-in standard GS internal fish neck, and full torque-through structural design. Two complete service grades are supplied to match diverse reservoir environments: STD standard grade for conventional sweet oil wells without hydrogen sulfide corrosive media, and H₂S sour service grade manufactured with sulfur-resistant alloy for high-H₂S corrosive sour gas well working conditions.

The standardized product lineup covers outer diameter sizes ranging from 1-11/16" to 3-1/8", with matched inner diameter, make-up length and GS fish neck size specifications, equipped with standard AMMT and PAC bottom connection threads for universal compatibility with mainstream coiled tubing connectors and downhole service tools.
