Inconel 718 Coiled Tubing Downhole Tools | High Temperature Corrosion Resistant CT Tooling

Downhole Tool

Product Overview

Our Inconel 718 coiled tubing downhole tools are manufactured from premium nickel-chromium superalloy, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength retention at high temperatures. Designed for the most extreme downhole environments including high-temperature geothermal wells, deep HPHT oil and gas wells and corrosive sour service applications, Inconel 718 tools maintain their mechanical properties at temperatures where conventional alloy steels begin to degrade. The material offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, sulfide stress cracking and hydrogen embrittlement. Each tool is precision machined from certified Inconel 718 bar stock with full material traceability, then heat treated to the optimal age-hardened condition for the best combination of strength and corrosion resistance.

FAQ

Q: What is the maximum operating temperature for Inconel 718 tools?
A: Inconel 718 maintains excellent mechanical properties up to 1300°F (704°C). For downhole tool applications, the practical operating limit depends on the specific sealing elements used in the tool assembly.

Q: Are Inconel 718 tools NACE MR0175 compliant?
A: Yes, Inconel 718 is inherently resistant to sulfide stress cracking and meets NACE MR0175 requirements for sour service in its age-hardened condition.

Q: What tool types are available in Inconel 718?
A: All standard coiled tubing downhole tools including connectors, jars, accelerators, centralizers and specialty tools can be manufactured in Inconel 718.

Q: What is the typical lead time?
A: Due to specialized material sourcing and machining requirements, Inconel 718 tools typically require 20-35 working days.

Q: What documentation is provided with Inconel tools?
A: Complete material test certificates, PMI verification, hardness testing reports and NACE compliance documentation.
