Product Overview

The Heavy Duty Hydraulic Disconnect is a heavy-load drop-ball actuated emergency release tool specially designed for high-strength coiled tubing downhole heavy-duty operations. Operators deploy a matching drop ball through the coiled tubing inner bore, the ball sits and builds internal tubing pressure to trigger the hydraulic separation mechanism, realizing safe detachment of the downhole coiled tubing tool string at the preset disconnect point.

A unique advantage of this heavy-duty hydraulic disconnect is that both the drop ball and the internal piston sleeve assembly will flow back to the ground surface together with the fluid after separation, no ball or piston parts left downhole. After the tool string is separated, a standard GS internal fish neck structure is retained at the upper sub, which can be matched with standard GS fishing tools to salvage and recover the lower disconnected downhole assembly. This product is specially suitable for high-load downhole construction operations such as coiled tubing cutting, drilling, milling and fishing.

Two complete service grades are supplied to match diverse reservoir environments: STD standard grade for conventional sweet oil wells without hydrogen sulfide corrosive media, and H₂S sour service grade constructed with sulfur-resistant alloy for high-H₂S corrosive sour gas well working conditions.

The standardized product lineup covers outer diameter sizes ranging from 1-3/4" to 3-1/8", with matched inner diameter, drop ball size, make-up length and GS fish neck size specifications, equipped with standard AMMT and PAC bottom connection threads for universal compatibility with mainstream coiled tubing connectors and heavy-duty downhole service tools.
