The Dual Activated Circulation Valve is a multi-function dual-action circulation rebuilding tool specially designed for coiled tubing downhole tool strings, integrating two independent circulation activation mechanisms: burst disc pressure rupture actuation and drop ball shear pin piston actuation, to handle different downhole circulation failure conditions.

Scenario 1 (No initial circulation available): Build internal pressure inside the coiled tubing string; once pressure exceeds the rated rupture pressure of the built-in burst disc, the disc ruptures to create a flow channel between coiled tubing and annulus, re-establishing fluid circulation. Scenario 2 (Normal circulation can be built): Operators drop a ball inside the tubing, build pressure to push the internal piston downward to shear pre-installed shear pins, side circulation ports open to communicate tubing inner bore and annulus to restore stable downhole circulation.

This dual-action circulation valve supports fully customizable technical parameters: various burst disc rupture pressure ratings are optional, and the drop ball activation shear pressure can be freely adjusted to match diverse well depth, formation pressure and coiled tubing construction schemes.
